COYO TACO Goes Vice City: Miami’s GTA-Themed Takeover Now Includes Pink Tacos

Miami’s transformation into Vice City appears to have reached the taco stage.

Images shared with GTA GOD show COYO TACO sporting Vice City branding, including a pink script sign beneath its exterior lettering and an illuminated display inside featuring a rose, “VI” lettering and the words “COYO TACO Vice City.”

Subtle? Not particularly. Am I interested in eating a taco inside the GTA marketing campaign? Absolutely.

And there’s more to this than a new sign.

The menu already has GTA specials

COYO TACO’s Wynwood ordering menu includes a section labelled “GTA COLLAB SPECIALS.”

The standout is the Vice City Taco (Carne Asada), listed at $11.50. It combines marinated skirt steak, pico de gallo, chipotle, cheese and cilantro with a hand-pressed pink tortilla coloured using beet juice.

Naturally, even the tortilla has understood the colour palette.

The Wynwood ordering page also lists Patriot Pilsner and Pisswasser Pilsner Beer. A Vice City taco appears on the Brickell ordering menu too, suggesting the themed food isn’t limited to one location.

That doesn’t establish that every restaurant has the same decorations or specials. Check the individual location before making the trip.

Vice City branding has reached the storefront

The exterior images show a small Vice City sign directly beneath the large COYO lettering, with the restaurant’s blue umbrellas and colourful artwork still in place.

Inside, the illuminated rose display makes the theme considerably harder to miss.

It’s a fun approach: the place still looks like somewhere you’d stop for lunch, except now your lunch comes with the feeling that you’ve wandered into a GTA location.

The images establish what the decorations look like. They don’t tell us when they went up, how long they’ll remain, or whether a larger event is coming.

What we know—and what’s still coming

Here’s what we can report so far:

• Images shared with GTA GOD show COYO TACO signage featuring Vice City branding and a “VI” rose display.
• The Wynwood ordering menu explicitly labels a section “GTA COLLAB SPECIALS.”
• A pink-tortilla Vice City taco is listed on both the Wynwood and Brickell ordering pages.
• COYO TACO lists its Wynwood restaurant at 2300 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami.

We haven’t located a detailed public announcement explaining the promotion’s full scope, including its dates, participating locations, possible events or Rockstar’s precise involvement.

The menu’s collaboration wording is worth reporting. It isn’t a substitute for those missing details.

For now, Vice City has apparently developed a pink-taco economy.

We’ll be watching for what comes next. Preferably near the salsa.
