Rockstar turned a real Miami nightclub into a GTA joke. Now the nightclub is turning itself into the joke.

On Friday, November 6, 2026, E11EVEN Miami is becoming NINE1NINE Vice City for a one-night event headlined by Flo Rida.

The real club is throwing a grand opening for its fictional counterpart. Miami has apparently decided that waiting for the game is optional.

From a trailer joke to an actual night out

NINE1NINE first appeared in GTA VI’s December 2023 debut trailer on a banner being pulled by a plane:

Why Sixty Nine When You Can Nine 1 Nine?

The name was widely recognized as a nod to E11EVEN, Miami’s real downtown ultraclub.

E11EVEN embraced the reference. Shortly after the trailer, it released its own promotional video featuring an aerial banner connecting the two names.

Dexerto later identified the nightclub visited by Jason and Lucia in Trailer 2 as NINE1NINE, drawing the comparison to E11EVEN again.

What started as a background detail has now reached the “buy a ticket and go there” stage.

Flo Rida is headlining the Vice City grand opening

E11EVEN’s official event listing describes the party as the real-world grand opening of NINE1NINE, held in celebration of GTA 6.

Flo Rida headlining a fictional Florida nightclub inside the real Florida nightclub that inspired it is a sentence that somehow becomes more Miami with every word.

Before you turn up dressed like an NPC

The venue’s ticket page specifies an upscale nightlife dress code and excludes beachwear, flip-flops, baseball caps and jerseys.

So while Vice City may be the theme, your emergency gas-station outfit is probably staying home.

The ticket listing says admission is guaranteed only before 1 a.m., subject to its entry conditions. Check the current ticket terms and dress code before booking.

Is this an official Rockstar event?

GTA BOOM reports that the takeover is E11EVEN’s own promotion, rather than an official Rockstar Games or Take-Two event.

The club’s listing celebrates GTA 6, but that should not be confused with a Rockstar-hosted launch party.

It is still a particularly good example of how far the game has escaped the screen. A business recognized itself in Rockstar’s parody and decided to book the parody for Friday night.

The event falls 13 days before GTA VI’s November 19 launch.
