GTA 6 Jason and Lucia: what Rockstar has confirmed

Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the pair at the heart of Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar has revealed their backgrounds and the trouble that pulls them together, while leaving much of the story under wraps.

Who are Jason and Lucia?

Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the central pair in Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar’s story setup says an easy score goes wrong and draws them into a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida. They have to depend on each other to get through it.

Jason Duval’s background

Rockstar says Jason spent time in the Army after a difficult adolescence. He later moved to the Leonida Keys and worked for local drug runners. He is connected to Brian Heder, who lets Jason stay at one of his properties while Jason helps with his business.

Lucia Caminos’s background

Lucia’s story begins with a stint in the Leonida Penitentiary. Rockstar says she fought for her family, got out of prison, and wants to build the life her mother imagined when they lived in Liberty City. Her plan intersects with Jason’s.

What remains unknown

Rockstar has introduced both characters and their shared premise, but its character page does not explain every story turn or how play between them works. Treat detailed mission lists and ending claims as speculation until Rockstar confirms them.
