Xbox Made an Alligator Series X, and We Have Questions

Xbox’s Series X-BITE puts a working console inside a five-foot alligator. Here’s what it is and how to enter the giveaway as GTA 6’s launch approaches.

Most people preparing for GTA 6 are clearing storage or deciding which edition to buy. Xbox has taken a different approach: put the console inside an alligator.

Meet the Xbox Series X-BITE, a custom creation measuring more than five feet long. There is a functioning Series X inside it, and Xbox is giving the whole thing to one winner.

Your entertainment center has officially become a habitat.

Yes, there is an Xbox in the alligator

The console sits inside the creature’s body, with an illuminated Xbox logo showing through. A custom controller with bite marks rests between its jaws.

Apparently, keeping your controller away from the dog was only the beginning.

Creature specialists John Nolan Studio built the fabrication. The result looks like something you would normally admire from the other side of a very sturdy fence.

This is an artificial alligator. Xbox says the hardware works, but recommends the custom creation primarily as a display piece.

The Florida energy is doing a lot of work

Xbox describes Florida as the inspiration for the design. With GTA 6 approaching, a giant gaming reptile certainly knows how to read the room.

That connection is our interpretation: Xbox’s announcement does not identify this as an official GTA 6 collaboration.

Still, if your plan was to experience Leonida while sitting beside a suspiciously large alligator, your living room arrangements have been handled.

How to enter the Xbox Series X-BITE giveaway

Xbox lists entry through X, Instagram or TikTok:

Follow @Xbox on your chosen platform.
Repost the designated giveaway post.
Manually include #XbiteSweepstakes.
Keep your account public.

Entries close November 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Xbox says a potential winner has 48 hours to respond, so check those notifications.

The announcement lists eligibility as legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., aged 18 or older. No purchase is necessary. Check the official giveaway rules for the full requirements.

Would we put this in the living room?

Absolutely. Explaining it to guests would be half the entertainment.

The other half would be watching someone carefully walk around it to reach the couch.
